Passover Services at Temple Israel 2010

Dear Hevre,

We are ready to offer the community a Second Night Passover Seder hosted at Temple Israel.

The seder is planned for March 30th at 6:00pm

The cost of a kosher for Passover meal and seder is $36 a person and will require much work on the part of our caterer, Victor Torres.  For this reason, we can not proceed until we have a minimum of 25 people sign up and paid in full for the dinner.  We need 25 attendees, paid in full,  received by March 12th to go forward, otherwise we will have to cancel the seder.

For those who are interested in attending, but can not afford the $36 ticket price, our sponsors are standing ready to help you.  Temple Israel, JFS and Federation are committed to paying for seders for families unable to do so on their own.  You can reach out by calling Roz Antoun or Sima Auerbach at 607-724-2332 or

Rabbi Tziona Szajman at 607-723-7461.

All are welcome at this Community Passover Seder.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Tziona Szajman and the Ritual Committee of Temple Israel

Sima Auerbach, Jewish Federation of Broome County

Roz Antoun, Jewish Family Services
