Weekly Talmud Commentary from Pardes
  • Weekly Talmud: World of Our Sages

The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies is located in Jerusalem.  It is not affiliated with any political party or religious denomination. At the same time, we are committed to Jewish practice as prescribed by Halacha (Jewish Law), and this is reflected in our official activities and events. Pardes faculty do not impose any patterns of observance or belief on students. We support student initiatives that meet the plurality of religious needs.

Portable Pluralism from Ta-Shma
  • Discussion and Exegesis from Ta-Shma

Ta Shma provides Hebrew- and English-speaking Jews of all ages with educational programming that conveys the excitement and relevance of Jewish texts and tradition.  Recognizing that diversity is one of the Jewish community's greatest assets, Ta Shma offers a model of multi-voiced Jewish learning that emphasizes the importance of constructive disagreement.  Ta Shma's commitment to diversity leads us to ensuring a varied student body, a broad range of Jewish expression, and a uniquely diverse faculty.

Archive of Modern Hebrew Literature
  • Modern Hebrew Literature

Project Ben-Yehuda aims to make accessible the classics of Hebrew literature (poetry and prose at first, and then essays etc.) to the reader of Hebrew. For that purpose, the literary works are converted to a format that is readable and searchable on the Internet. The project is intended to be of use for both amateurs and scholars of literature.
