Ruler of all worlds, Sovereign of all souls, Lord of Peace,

May it be your will, Adonai, our G-d and G-d of our ancestors, to return all of our brethren among the people of Israel, kidnapped and held in captivity, under oppressive conditions within the Gaza Strip.

Guard them from all harm. Spread over them the shelter of your peace and fill all of the requests of their hearts for good so that they may return to their homes and the embrace of their families.

Please, Master of Mercy, have mercy upon us and upon all of the remnant of your people, the house of Israel. Save us from the hands of enemies and haters, from disease and from war. Bestow upon us grace, compassion, and love in your eyes and in the eyes of all who look upon us. Listen to our plea as you listen to the prayer of every mouth with merciful compassion.

Parent of Merciful Love, Rock of Israel and our Redeemer, rise up with the help of Israel to redeem our kidnapped captives along with all the exiles of your people Israel. Fulfill what is written, “Return O Lord our captives like a spring in the Negev desert, then those who sowed in tears will reap in joy”.
